Creating a POP Email account, local Email client configuration and Webmail |
Web-Based Email:
Go to http://yourdomain.com/webmail, where yourdomain.com should be replaced with your real domain name.
Enter your entire e-mail address in the User name field. Type your password in the respective field, and click Login.
Creating a POP email account with cPanel
You already have a POP Email account setup when you order Rustikat Hosting services, youraccountname@yoursite.com. Each new account has a number of Email accounts available, login to cPanel to set up addition Email addresses. You can access your cPanel by typing http://yourdomain.com/cpanel in your browsers URL address bar or go to http://rustikat.net and under Shared Hosting Account Services just click cPanel Login. Enter your username and password and you are ready to create additional POP emails.
Local Email client configuration
Make sure you use all the settings below for local e-mail client configuration (Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Incredimail and Pegasus):
Incoming mail POP3 server: mail.yourdomain.com (Please, replace yourdomain.com with your hosted domain name).
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com (Please, replace yourdomain.com with your hosted domain name).
Please note that some Internet Providers will force you to use their SMTP servers, in which case, you will not be able to use ours.
